Harry Potter and the Order of the Media

The magical world of Harry Potter seems more and more to be seeping into our own muggle world. Emma Watson (Hermione) has blasted her way into the tabloids, and found her way onto the paparazzi hit list. Already her photos are crashing across the Internet and television of the infamous "wardrobe malfunctions", including an interview/interrogation with David Letterman late last night. But the star who as played the fantasy girl Hermione Granger for more than half of her life has reflected her character as seen in her plans to attend the prestigious Brown university in the U.S.

Near the back of the tabloids, you'll find the more unknown character of Jamie Waylett, who played the dumb bloke next to Malfoy, Crabbe. Yep, but you won't find any underwear photos of him there, but more appropriately mug shots. The Death Eater's son has been kicked out of Herbology and thrown behind bars for growing the Cannabis plant, more widely known as marijuana or pot.

Even the star Harry Potter himself, played by Daniel Radcliffe, has fallen under the imperious of his own character. Admitting to mostly just acting as himself for the Potter Films, which is the 2nd highest grossing film series of all time at a price tab of $4.48 Billion. Blimey, Harry!

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince apparates to theatres on July 15, offering a view into the the villainous Voldemort's childhood. Then the battle for the summer box office crown will be put into action, the Wand or the Robots (See Transformers: Rise of the Fallen Review), which already have pushed back the release date of the Potter film on IMAX due to theatres 4 week commitment to the less magical Transformers.

There may be no bigger following of fans for a film series today, other than the ranks of teen girls for the 'Twilight' series, and the hype has been there ever since the film was delayed from it's original Christmas time release. Keep an eye open, Potter may not only swipe the Box Office, but all the Tabloids as well.

I am looking forward to watching this film.

Daniel Radcliffe is now 20 years old... how old is he supposed to be in this movie? 17? Not too much of a difference, I suppose.

I applaud that you found a way to hide the blogger banner at the top of your blog, but your layout is still essentially boring, as is mine.

Update: Saw Harry Potter, and I must say it has an argument for best in the series. Stays on track and nicely flows through a lengthy 2 and a half hours with great special effects and endearing acting.
